Taste of Derek
A stately margarita where roasted pineapple and blistered jalapeño share a glass with mezcal.

Ingredients
- 2 oz (60 ml) Mestiza Negra Mezcal
- 0.75 oz (22 ml) Lime juice
- 0.75 oz (22 ml) Roasted pineapple syrup
- 0.5 oz (15 ml) Cointreau
- 2 slices Blistered jalapeño
Method
- Lightly muddle the blistered jalapeño in the shaker.
- Add remaining ingredients with ice and shake hard.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a thin pineapple wedge.
