A stately margarita where roasted pineapple and blistered jalapeño share a glass with mezcal.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Mestiza Negra Mezcal
  • 0.75 oz (22 ml) Lime juice
  • 0.75 oz (22 ml) Roasted pineapple syrup
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Cointreau
  • 2 slices Blistered jalapeño

Method

  1. Lightly muddle the blistered jalapeño in the shaker.
  2. Add remaining ingredients with ice and shake hard.
  3. Double-strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a thin pineapple wedge.
