Short Shake Redemption

A photoshoot-ready POG margarita with passionfruit, galangal and a lemongrass-bitters whisper.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Mestiza Negra Mezcal
  • 0.75 oz (22 ml) Lime juice
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Passion fruit puree
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Orange juice
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Guava puree
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Galangal syrup
  • 2 dashes Lemongrass bitters

Method

  1. Short-shake all ingredients with one large cube.
  2. Pour everything — ice and all — into a stemmed glass.
  3. Garnish with half a passion fruit and a galangal leaf.
